Follow the links to an information page about each play: Four Cities, Four Stories Birmingham Repertory Theatre (UK), Dresden State Theatre (Germany), Teatr Polski Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Zagreb Youth Theatre (Croatia) will each work with one of their country’s leading playwrights – Steve Waters, Lutz Hubner, Malgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk and Tena Stivicic. to create a unique piece of theatre revealing varying attitudes towards Europe across the continent. The writers will collaborate to create a multi-authored, multi-lingual play based on research and interviews in their own countries. The play, currently titled Four Cities, Four Stories will tour to each country in 2013. INVISIBLE A new collaborative project for Douglas Rintoul's company TRANSPORT.The project explores narratives of migration and is a collaboration with the choreographer Darren Johnston and writer Tena Stivicic.Co-produced with the New Wolsey Theatre and supported by Complicite, the Arts Council England and the National Theatre Studio, London the project will tour the UK and Europe in Autumn 2011 and Spring 2012. The play - entitled 'We Are Water'‚ - came about as a result of a joint project between the BBC and the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, who were keen to build on a similar but smaller-scale project in 2000 to develop the next level in cyber-generated arts. After making their selections of the writers involved the two organisations brought them together into the International Young Writers Group. Webs We Weave.
