What did she think of the experience? Tena, you've just seen a performance - but have you also understood the German text? Stivicic: I understand a lot of German, but as a writer because I attach great importance to words, I speak German very relunctantly. I would rather speak in English. In the past year you have witnessd the Janusz-Kica staging of this play at the Biennale opening. What are the differences in tonight’s performance, compared to the Janusz-Kica version ? Stivicic: Each performance is different and works best at the place where it is performed. So it is tonight. I have actually seen a very new piece. Today The characters arrived at the Rhein-Main airport. How did that compare to your original idea? Stivicic: My piece is not a documentation, but a metaphor for our time.
