Shadow of the Jaguar

Author, Steven Savile talks to douglashenshall.com about the book, Shadow of the Jaguar

"Titan, the publishers, Tim, Adrian, and myself have talked  extensively about what, exactly, we want to achieve with Shadow of the Jaguar. Primarily we're after a really compelling adventure story.

It's all about thinking big - an episode of the show that could never  be filmed for budgetary constraints - effects, stunts, whatever the  imagination can conjure. It's all about replicating the excitement of  the show. The guys were very keen to let me know they wanted it scary, lots of on the edge of the seat stuff because this one is not aimed purely at a younger reader but for the adult fans as well.

While we aren't talking about a horror novel there will be quite a few heart-in-mouth and edge-of-the-seat moments meant to make the reader squirm nervously as they turn the page. The book will be very much in line  with the ethos of the show in that respect."
