DS Tate (Brendan Coyle) infiltrates a gang of armed robbers, posing as the boyfriend of their getaway driver (played by Douglas Henshall). But the closer he gets to the heart of the gang, the more the operations is threatened.

I took this photo of Douglas Henshall for Thief Takers in 1996. We were filming at a disused factory in Brentford and he turned up with shoulder length hair which was soon cut into a short back and sides. The empty office block looks just like barracks.

It's an interesting picture because in the drama, you do not see Paul Valera in his RAF uniform. However, I think you see this picture in a frame on a shelf at the home of Valera's father.
