Douglas Henshall.com Welcome to a site about acclaimed British actor Douglas Henshall (aka Dougie Henshall or Doug Henshall). Douglas Henshall starred in 3 Series of ITV's Science Fiction series Primeval, in which he played Professor Nick Cutter. He was recently seen in in the film Dorian Gray and the highly commended drama Collision. New projects include The Eagle of the Ninth (2010) and How I Was Stolen by the Germans (2010). He is currently filming The Silence a new four- part thriller for BBC1. |

News February 3rd 2010 Update at Tena Stivicic January 13th 2010 First picture of Douglas Henshall in The Silence taken from the BBC Winter/Spring 2010 trailer. More info. on The Silence here. Filming continues on the BBC serial The Silence until February and it could be shown on BBC 1 as early as May 2010. January 12th 2010 Occasionally this website is able to update its archive pages. Today we go back in time 20 years to 1990 when Douglas Henshall appeared in the TV Drama She Play: Dancing in the Dark on channel 4 and the play The Evildoers at The Bush Theatre. Thanks to the websites of actor Tania Rodriguez and playwright Chris Hannan a page with a video link has been created for She Play and a photograph (and updated reviews) added to The Evil Doers page. January 11th 2010 In a recent interview about the film How I was Stolen by the Germans producer/actor Svetozar Cvetkovic told the website B92 that Douglas Henshall: is excellent at speaking German in the film and spoke both German and English with a German accent. He continued: Douglas told us that this is the best role that he has ever been offered. Read more here.
